Christmas Concerts

For those who love the sounds of big band and swing, Douglas County Museum's Holiday Tea Dance featuring the Gene Trimble Band is the place to be.

There will be plenty of refreshments at the event which is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, December 12 at the museum building on South Main Street in Tuscola. Admission is $10 and proceeds will benefit the Douglas County Museum. For more information visit the museum's website at www.docomuseum.org

Karaoke singers will have the chance to sing in front of the big screen at the Tuscola Community Building when the Tuscola Christmastown hosts its first ever Christmas Song Karaoke Contest.

The contest is divided into three age categories – kids 12 and under, teens aged 13-19 and adults over 20. The number of entrants in each category is limited to 10 and the first place winners in each category will win $25 and second place winners will receive $10.

Just click the link below for an entry form and list of available Christmas songs. The entry fee is $3 per person and participants must register at the door.
